Animals Sound Machine App Reviews

The idea is great. My kids love this type of game. Daddy makes the sound of an animal and Marten finds the animal on the screen. Or daddy names an animal and Marten finds it on the screen. The sound the animal makes is the reward. Unfortunately the quality of the samples is not very good. The developer should make better quality sounds available in an update.

Only a child or possibly some frustated broadcaster would buy such an application. I LOVE IT !

Well my 2 year old niece cant wait till i get home because of this application alone. Simple to use, even for a 2 year old, and lots of fun!!!

The application spent work. I dont get any sounds.

I am unable to get this program to emit sounds on my iPhone.

Works great. My daughter will love it! Id rather a cricket than a second horse though.

My two year old loves this - very basic. Would rather more animals than some dupes - dolphin picture is no good (cant tell what it is). Would love to see a future update with more screens.

This animal sound app is pretty good, mine works fine, the dog scares my cats, so its worth every one of the 199 pennies it cost

The sounds are great! I laughed out loud for a long time. My cats were very disturbed, but I know my 3 year old niece will love it!

I am the developer for Animals Sound Machine. Many of these are not reviews but questions for tech support. The program works very well and is tested by me and by Apple before being added to the store. Sounds are not mixed up and the sounds do work on the iPhone and iPod Touch. If you are having a problem hearing sounds on your iPhone please make sure it is not muted. A muted phone cannot play the sound effects in this app or many other apps that use sound. iPod Touch Users need to turn the setting for Sound Effects to ON. You will find this under General. I designed this application for my daughters - they are the toughest critics of ALL. So I never would have released something that didnt work. If you are having issues with the app please follow the support links and email me your concerns. I will work with you to resolve them. Despite the negative reviews (why?), I downloaded this app for entertainment for my toddler, who loves this app. He is in an animal phase and the variety of animals and their sounds are a welcome change. I havent had any problems with this app nor the sounds it makes. Well work the $0.99 just to see my child recognize all the animal sounds. Great entertainment and opportunity for learning.

I did have a problem in the very beginning - got splash screen then app would just close. Support page suggested restarting for iPhone problems - app on iTouch worked after restarting. As far as the criticism of two horses - one is the neigh, one is the galloping. shrug. The one I dont really get is the two cows - once youve heard one cow . . . I got this app to entertain nephew and to torture random cats.

fun app, but the main point of it is to play it using the speaker, such as the one on the iPhone. it only works in the headphones for the iPod Touch, so i would recommend it for iPhone, not the iPod Touch.

I see animals on my machine, but get no sound whatsoever when they are touched. I purchased this for my kids to have fun with. What a waste!

This is my 2 year olds favorite app on the iphone aside from "Moo". Sorry but she actually calls my Iphone the moo so it wins 1st place but, this app is her second favorite. She will walk around and push all the animals, and mimic all of them while telling us what each one is. Both my wife and I where actually suprized when she even knew the names of some of the more exotic animails.... hmmm... Great app. Its worth the buck.
